I've always wondered how old cel-cartoons achieved that blur/distortion effect to convey a dream transition or an underwater scene. I guess they either smudged the camera lense, wobbled the cel, or put a clear container of water on top of it?

As someone who likes both the Lithtech engine and the film this is based on, I'm curious about this game. Sometimes these things can turn out to be hidden gems, like that Deep Space Nine Unreal engine game.

I remember reading something about how the 1990s are becoming the "new 1950s" i.e. this idyllic period of happiness that was, in reality, pretty fucked up in a lot of ways. They only seemed great if you were a white middle-class kid in the west.
