Dark Souls 3 on CRT continues, to the Profaned Capital. The Yhorm boss fight is, admittedly, pretty fun, but I find it emblematic of Dark Souls 3 in that it's a weird mash-up of references to previous games and doesn't really have its own identity. Great spectacle, though. #crt #darksouls #gaming

Ludicrous that they put a bunch of bullshit sound effects no one uses into the General MIDI standard (helicopter, applause, telephone etc) but totally forgot the humble finger snap. Should've been in the drum kit, right next to hand clap.

Damn, the "Normal" ending of Valkyrie Profile is barely anything at all. No story segments, you beat the boss and it basically smash cuts to credits. Nothing to even take pictures of. 🤷

Looks like I won't be getting the Good ending in Valkyrie Profile. Whoops! Accurate for a first time play-through, I guess. Missing out on a lot of the story, unfortunately. If I play it again, I'll do Hard mode and follow a guide to get the good ending. That could be 20 years from now, though.
