Finished FF9 again, might be the tenth-ish time and still the Final I like the most. Hadn't played it on original PS and CRT for a long time though. Some views of Memoria and the ending.

Been revisiting Fallout 3 and New Vegas on the PS3. Obviously not the ideal way to play them, but I have an exceptionally high tolerance for shitty frame rates (looks nice on my older LCD at least!). I do think they're lacking the sauce of the turn-based games, which I'd never realised till now.

The Old Monk is one hell of a swing-- a boss that hijacks another player and press-gangs them into fighting you. Absolutely killer idea. The lore flavor is tasty as well. I love the mountain of chairs. Why stack all those chairs? I'll never know, and that's great. #crt #demon'ssouls #gaming

And that's a wrap for Fallout 2! Very happy to have this under my belt. Wouldn't say I preferred it over the first, I enjoyed the smaller scale and laser focused plot of the original more. That said, I greatly enjoyed my time here, though I was taken aback by the vastly increased difficulty.

Demon's Souls on CRT continues, and returns to Latria. One of the best environments in a video game, incredible desolate atmosphere, impossible to do justice with my shabby photographs and fancy words. ... Typo correction: last post should be 1-3, not 3-3. Whoops. #crt #demon'ssouls #gaming

Just finished the original Fallout, making it the first ever turn-based RPG I've ever played and beaten! And I really enjoyed it, I'd attempted to play it a few years ago and was put off by how initially alien the gameplay felt. Now having beaten it, it isn't as impenetrable as I once thought.
