Earlier today I stumbled upon a cheap old 720p LED Samsung TV which I thought would be perfect for my Wii as I haven't been able to play it in widescreen for over a year now. Set up the PS3 via component out of curiosity and I have to say it looks way better here than on my 4K monitor.

It finally arrived, after a ba-gillion years of impatience.

It's been a bit Metroid-ey here, so I'm going to celebrate the release 18 years ago today of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption: my favourite Metroid game. It's my fav for some specific reasons (motion control implementation, world design and found narratives), and hope it does get a remaster some day.
