βThe Kentucky tenant union has secured a collectively bargained lease from a corporate landlord β the first of its kind in the South. The agreement includes a 10-day grace period for rent payments, a schedule for major repairs, formally recognizes the union and more.β

The other thing that is charming me is various products whose packaging has not been updated in generations. Just bopping along like the Blue Bell ice cream marketing department.

Sometimes it feels like if we could just somehow communicate to every person that each person in the world is also a full person, then somehow we could use that shared knowledge as a fundamental truth to build on.

Ever wondered why you can see underwater bubbles: invisible air in invisible water? It's because light bends slightly at the boundary between air & water, so light coming from behind the bubble is diverted away from your eye. The resulting dark line shows you the bubble must be there. Beautiful!

Happened upon this in The New School's Digital Collections: in 1970 Parsons students voted to suspend classes and instead organize an exhibition titled "My God. We're Losing a Great Country." They invited Nixon. Also: check out that letterhead!

The marine layer crept in during low tide and brought a bit of rain along with it. A solid coastal combo that keeps the crowd away most times. One of my favorite times of year to be here. πΈ: Central Oregon Coast
