Holy heck god damn is this book a fascinating read. The prologue hits the term “unalive” hard and compares it to so many ways we’ve softened words around death - including “deceased”. Just a little ways through and fascinated.

The things that could have been accomplished when care networks that sprung up in 2020 had been maintained. The empathy that could have been born. The care that could have built the world anew.

I know I know I know and yet whenever I have hot air and cold air blowing I think, now where is my tornado. I know! 🐄
