Well, gang! Earlier this morning, my cat Balthazar had her first post-chemo blood test! And... there's bad news, to put it mildly! To put it simply, the cancer is "back." The oncologist declared that Balthazar entered remission prematurely, so it never left. Her lymph nodes have swollen again.

Today was Balthazar's 6th chemo treatment! As always, progress remains smooth: the cutaneous lymphoma seems to be receding at a steady rate! She is expected to enter remission by October, with an extra dose to be certain. At the same time, she'll receive an organ exam to verify the cancer is gone.
