I wish there was more of a push from writers/websites to have people use RSS. I know Google Reader's death made it harder, but there's apps now like Inoreader and Feedly that work on phones that I think people would use. It's just easier to see something through RSS feeds than checking social media

Great thread that also shows how terrible AI crap is when it has wormed its way into places where one looks for photo references. Sites that do stock photos and Pinterest are both no longer usable without a lot of due diligence that eats up way too much time you don't have.

Picked up August Blue by Deborah Levy at the bookstore largely because of the blurb by @mjohnharrison.bsky.social . Did not disappoint. Beautiful and fragmentary just as I like it.
