2 things I'm excited to see in the PHI/NYG game. NYG led the league in 2-TE dropbacks last week. And they're 2x as efficient compared to 1-TE DBs with Dart. Hurts had 3 under-center play action DBs last week, compared to 4 total Weeks 1-6. He leads the league in efficiency (very small sample).

Thursday Night kicks off with Vikings ⚔️ vs. Chargers ⚡ Wentz is hanging onto the job (for now), Justin Jefferson’s still commanding double-digit targets, and Jordan Mason could lose work if Aaron Jones returns. Meanwhile, Justin Herbert just fed his receivers 50 targets 😳

PIT can't possibly keep getting away with it. They have a below-average passing success rate with the lowest number of plays in the league...But they probably can against CIN, especially with Trey Hendrickson likely out. PIT remains the 5-1 manager in your league with the fewest points against.

KC reclaimed the pass rate over expectation (PROE) crown from LAC. There have been 9 instances of a team hitting at least 10% PROE this season, and KC has 3 of them. They're going to pass regardless, but especially this week with the Raiders' 6th-most-efficient run defense and Rashee Rice returning.

A big thing I'll be looking at this week is how critical play volume and the number of drives are for fantasy football. And trying to invest in offenses where the coaching staff doesn't punt the ball with 5 minutes left down 2 scores near midfield. Or ever choosing to hand the ball to Tyler Badie.

The biggest thing I'm looking for with KC on offense is explosive plays. 27th in explosive pass rate and dead-last in explosive run rate last year. Do we get Mahomes' aDoT reasonably above Gardner Minshew's? Does the Worthy connection improve? Was Pacheco's terrible play all from the leg fracture?

I wrote a love letter to A.J. Brown. The Eagles responded and said they’re going to establish the run even harder now.

I think this was published for 2 minutes before the news dropped that Rashee Rice's suspension won't happen until at least September 30th. That changes the calculus of the Rice pick a ton. We can get through a suspension at the beginning of the season. We can't if it's pushed to the playoff weeks.

A lot has been made of Achane potentially losing goal line work this season. But on his 14 carries within 5 yards of the endzone he totaled…-1 yards. To his credit, he had 12 yards after contact. It would suck to lose the 3 TDs he had here but clearly not the main driver of his fantasy points.
