Prime Minister Mark Carney took away the Minister of Diversity, Inclusion, and Persons with Disabilities. He is treating Canada Post like a business instead of an essential service. Now he wants to take away door-to-door delivery for all disabled Canadians and close rural post offices.

HOLY MOLY there needs to be a label for hiding flashing lights in some posts. Just got my eyeballs seared out my skull by an ad for bike lights someone posted. I wish people realized that's a serious migraine or seizure trigger. TV shows warn for lights or strobing effects. We need that here too.

The reason we need an NDP and a Green party and other parties in the Progressive space is because of how the two parties who have formed governments in a country have shown us they will treat workers. Look at Canada Post. Look at flight attendants. Workers are last. We deserve representation!

Canada Post “lost” 1 billion dollars last year? How about, “it cost Canadians 1 billion dollars to have a national postal service” which works out to costing about $25 a year per person (population of Canada in 2024 = 40 million). Seems like a pretty reasonable cost to me.
