2025 in a nutshell

Rust is the only memory-safe mainstream language *without a garbage collector*. Dropping either qualifier indicates the writer is careless, ignorant, stupid, or some combination of the three.

Mother Fucker. I tracked down and fixed a segfault in a 3rd party library causing issues w my app. Yet I was still seeing segfaults even tho valgrind runs on my reprexes were clean WTF?!? I never deployed the patched version of the lib to the correct conda environment for my test pipeline runs

Rust people should be embarrassed by the people trying to argue that Rust is the only truly memory-safe mainstream language. Far and away the cringiest RESF trope.
