This is what tariffs were always all about for Trump. Not about revenue, trade, domestic manufacturing, GDP - itâs about giving himself the unilateral power to decide economic winners and losers on a case by case basis, with kings and CEOs coming to him asking forbearance..

He never had the money to pay for the ballroom. It was always a scam. We were always going to have to pay for it. They were just waiting for the right moment to hit us with the bill. This is now the time.

Neguse: "Despite all of that, Speaker Johnson made the decision to gavel the House & send everyone home. Now we're back 2 weeks later & what has the majority decided is the most pressing issue to debate? Apparently it's a resolution commemorating a bill that the GOP passed last year. It's absurd."

I am not sure why Melania Trump decided to make a statement about Jeffrey Epstein seemingly out of nowhere today, but if the idea was to put the ongoing coverup in the rearview mirror it will backfire spectacularly

If I were in Trump's Cabinet, I would spend Easter calling constitutional lawyers about the 25th Amendment. This is completely, utterly unhinged. He's already killed thousands. He's going to kill thousands more.

Of all the dangerous and illegal things Trump is doing to tear apart the fabric of our constitutional republic while Republicans remain cowardly silent, in the final year of his term the politicization of the US military may turn out to be the biggest problem.
