The Day of the Triffids A number of films have been donated by a former BBC employee. With these were reel-to-reel recordings made in August 1968 of ‘The Day of the Triffids’, which had been broadcast on Radio 4 FM in June and July that year. These copies are of very high quality.

Bigfoot was a big part of the 70s paranormal boom. His furry reach extended to books, comics, The Six Million Dollar Man, and board games (two to be precise, from 1977 and 1987). The 80s version sees you trying to become Bigfoot's best friend for life. No, really!

All advertising says, "You're not good enough." You're not thin enough. Your teeth aren't white enough. Your clothes aren't cool enough. AI ads say You can't write an email without our help. You can't draw a picture without our help. You can't cope with life without our help. It's BULLSHIT.

The Chinese martial arts robots are an almost perfect metaphor for the (entirely sensible) anxiety about AI in the arts. All this… and it’s just a toy. A shop window display for the bigger, more sickeningly lucrative and more terrifying things they actually intend.
