Laurie Webb, aka Mr Ollis from Doctor Who’s The Three Doctors, was one of my favourite Who people. He also delivered one of its best lines (“You’d never believe me woman: supper ready?”). Laurie died, peacefully, on Sunday, just five weeks short of his 102nd birthday. What a life: he was adorable.

The news of the two recovered episodes from 'The Daleks’ Master Plan' broke shortly before Doctor Who Magazine 628 went to press. Issue 629 will have the First Doctor and Daleks on the cover with an even deeper dive into the 1965 series and an interview with Peter Purves and FiF.

The official Doctor Who social media accounts (at least on Instagram and Facebook) typically release the cover image of the next issue the Tuesday before but this doesn't seem to be the case for #628.
