People celebrating the Sens for slapping Hollander and Rozanov on a few jerseys while simultaneously sewing Reimer on one is going to make me scream.

It still boggles my mind (not really) that one of your owners could publicly come out and then a week later you sign one of the league's most famous homophobes. Like. What.

The most unrealistic thing about Heated Rivalry is that an Ottawa owner during the Melnyk-era would pony up top dollar for an in-his-prime superstar.

Delightful read from Mark Colley: These Toronto same-sex couples made history 25 years ago with marriages that included international media, police guards and bulletproof vests. Still together, just living their lives

Their weddings helped pave the way for same-sex marriages in Canada. 25 years later, they reflect on everything that’s changed — and what hasn’t
On Jan. 14, 2001, Canada’s first two same-sex weddings happened in Toronto. It was a media circus and security nightmare — and it helped change the country.

Since the start of the 1990-91 season, only the inaugural 1992-93 Senators (.852) and 1993-94 Senators (.857) have recorded a lower save percentage than Ottawa's current .865 mark. That inaugural Sens team was one of the worst in NHL history.

Ontario’s Greenbelt legislation was among the most publicly-engaged/consulted legislation in the province’s history and remains a remarkable achievement. It is constantly battered by a refusal to do anything else differently around it. Many things broke ON’s housing, but not the Greenbelt.

Just $6.67 per day is what the Liberals say people with disabilities can live off of. When was the last time Mark Carney spent less than $6.67 on a single meal? As it stands, the CDB is insultingly insufficient for eliminating poverty among people with disabilities.
