We bought a new adjustable standing desk and it came with a long-sleeved t-shirt that is really comfy. Because of the font and the brand name "UPLIFT" it definitely looks like I'm in a Christian cross-fit club. Oh well, still comfy!

Happy update, I was accepted! This has been a long time goal of mine to play in a community orchestra and I'm honored to join the DC Concert Orchestra as a cellist!

Periodic reminder that state schools are great. I still find it hilarious that I was on the flyer of ASU's 1987 nursing program because my parents were students when they had me. 23 years later I started my PhD at ASU!

I auditioned for an orchestra today and I am proud of myself. It was my first time auditioning in a long time and I worked in a new song as my solo piece.

Also learned they are major card sharks!!! ♠️ 🦈 Taught them all Euchre and even though I used to play a lot, I did the worst 😭

I made some scrambled eggs for breakfast with leftover ricotta and chives, yum! Also added a cornstarch-water mix to the eggs before cooking and it really helps them to not dry out!
