🍽️ New study shows that “mini-ghrelins” (short peptides from ghrelin breakdown) can bind and block the ghrelin receptor without triggering its effects. Instead of being inactive leftovers, they may actively inhibit ghrelin’s hunger-inducing actions. #neuroskyence #science #ingestivebehavior
