I feel something that doesn't get talked about with the AI situation, especially in games, is that the job market is so shit. I'm sure there are plenty of people that morally object, but either endure their position using AI or end up taking an AI based role just so they can pay their rent.

Yesterday my partner and I counted all the ads along Chicago's Brown Line for "Friend," a company selling an AI chatbot pendant, and tallied how many of those ads were defaced. Still working on a longer piece on this, but here's the quick and dirty: we counted 104 "Friend" ads total, 42 defaced.
