UNLOCKED THE EMPLOYMENT ACHIEVEMENT!! While not a writing job, it seems long-term stable. Massive shout-out to the FGC friends who helped refer me to the position. I have to clear a background check and get equipment to work remote, but should be working within a few weeks.

Well, chat, it happened. I got replay farmed LMAO. They aren’t even good replays. If you’re going to repost somebody’s gameplay, the very least you could do is link their own channel if they’re a content creator or streamer. But these content farms don’t care.

The library class went SO WELL, the kids were so excited to participate, for sure gonna have to make an Insta reel about it later but my heart is fully gonna explode 😭❤️

Also on a positive note! We had an out-of-state visitor today who won the entire local: everybody’s favorite Diamond 5 smurf, Azan. First time meeting him, got to play like 20 games of casuals, learned more about the Jamie matchup, and had the most fun playing I have in a while.

This weekend, I’m going to be doing my first library event (cue tears 😭), teaching essential story structure to tweens: character, problem, and solution. I will be using the book I wrote as a six-year-old as a prime example. I humbly present, a very professional reading. 😂

Disappointed about the 0-2 in Lightning Dome again, but it’s always stacked top to bottom, and both my sets went to game 5, so it wasn’t terrible. Eventually calmed down and got in the groove of ranked, too.

The faces of victory are not often magazine-cover worthy. We found out Peachtree wanted BSAS while on a Zoom call with my incredible editor and agent. I had to hold it together until the call ended, after which I called only my agent, who took a photo while I broke down sobbing.

I have every intention of still playing Lightning Dome tonight, but I'm not feeling super well and don't think I can both play and be an entertaining, positive presence on stream. Not sick, just losing the uterus matchup badly per usual. Streams return next week at the latest!

Started out the ranked phase tonight strong, dropping unnecessary games but not dropping any sets, but now I’m tired and grumpy and just throwing everything. I should probably go to bed, but I’m annoyed about causing the losses.

If I play SF6 tonight, I think it’ll just be to dip my toe into the new ranked phase. I went to three locals in the past week, and tomorrow is Lightning Dome online again, which I do want to stream. I don’t have TNS or Twitch in me this evening.

Genuinely such a healing night tonight (and not just because I got 3rd). I don’t know what it is about Hops & Stocks, but it is consistently such a safe place to land. I badly needed just pizza and beer and a lot of hugs and laughing too loudly about nonsense. I love these guys.

Very frustrated with my online tournament performances. 3-2 and 65th out of 200-something in TNS tonight doesn't sound that bad, but the only people I beat were sub 1500 MR. Both 1900+ players mauled me 3-1. The inconsistency is agonizing. I know I can do more. I know I can.
