Generative AI is a $30 billion TAM industry pretending to be a trillion-dollar one, propped up by circular financing from NVIDIA and desperation from hyperscalers like Oracle, who has mortgaged its entire future on the idea that OpenAI can pay it $75bn a year for compute.

There is no "value," nor are there "profits" to share from a company like OpenAI. The only reason that the entire tech industry is focused on AI is because they're completely out of hypergrowth ideas.

Is the policy itself written by AI? Two telltale signs that something was AI generated are over-reliance on em dashes and the "rule of three" structure, as marked up below. There's also lots of the superficial analyses and "not x, but y" negative parallelism typical of AI generated writing.
