I was in DC today and saw some of my incredible colleagues at the department of ed. Thinking about all of the committed public servants who will lose their jobs because of the current administration--our children, students, educators, families, and communities will suffer because of it.

If I had a kid with an IEP, right about now I would: 1. Contact (read: hound) my senator 2. Write a script for myself re: FAPE as a pillar of IDEA 3. Be prepared to file a formal complaint; prepare for due process 4. Ensure my kids minutes are still being met 5. Talk to other parents/guardians
