I’ve never believed in Santa but when I was about six my dad pretended to be him when we were celebrating at my godsister and godbrother’s house. I just realized right now the point wasn’t that we would believe it, but we would have a lot of fun not believing and trying to prove it.

I fell asleep with my feet up on the edge of a footstool and woke up with a midfoot ligament strain. I can’t bend my foot at all without unbelievable pain. It’s the dumbest injury ever and I’m saying that as someone who hit her head on the freezer door & had excruciating headaches for over a week.

My dad’s dead. It’s been one year and four hours. I thought I was doing ok all things considered but I yelled at the cats and then just walked away when I had been searching for something to make them warmer. If they’re playing and being chaos machines, they can’t be too cold, right?

I am giving up! I do not have have two kittens. I have two furry chaos demons who have yet again stolen the mesh strainer from the bathroom sink and I can’t find it. I’ve had to put a towel in the sink because they keep stealing my big barrettes and delicately placing them across the open drainpipe.

Violet is still small enough to sit on my shoulder. You’d think it would be adorable, but she farts.

Has anyone gotten a water fountain for their cat? How did it go? I give the kittens filtered water. Miri doesn’t like water and Violet keeps sticking her paws in and playing with it (gross). I mistakenly left the sink dripping and Violet has been drinking the slow drops for at least 30 mins.
