This is true, though in this scenario, we stop that number from growing. We have to prevent them from doing what torturers have done for decades: take their festering sickness with them to police, prison, and “private security” jobs where their victims are even less visible.

I just got tear gassed along with thousands of union members, many of whom had their families with them. Federal agents at the ICE facility tear gassed children. We must abolish ICE, DHS, and we must have prosecutions. I expect to see enforcement of our city code prohibiting the use of tear gas.

It was “baby’s first tear gas” for so many of us, including some literal babies. This crowd looked exactly like the No Kings march, so as you can expect, we saw the gas approaching and thought it was just smoke from the flash bangs until it started burning.

I guess I do think if you participated in the arrest of a five-year-old you are probably just fundamentally incompatible with society. That you are not a safe person for humanity to be around, generally

Cicada! My first 3D print and assembly of a model I started two weeks ago. Such a thrill to finally hold her! Pretty happy with this first version, where I'm just checking feel and proportions; fit and finish are rough. Next steps: details/textures, and assembly engineering (all on the inside).

One of my favorite artists on Bluesky. All of her work is so colorful and so CLEAN. Sharp, crisp lines are incredibly difficult to get from textiles!

One theory that was too obvious to mention in my earlier comic is that I MIGHT find my embroidery subpar not because of thread or needles, but because I suck at it and need more practice. 🙃 So, time to practice.

I enjoyed the comic enough that I decided to write an appendix for it, although it may be anticlimactic to explain exactly *what* got me into such a lather in the first place. This time I actually scanned the damn thing instead of taking lazy pictures on my phone.

I got frustrated working on projects today and sublimated it into comics. They’re very rough, but if I tried redrawing them that would be its own project, and just, No. 🚫 Hope you like them. 💕
