Clearly they tell a very different story! (these are simulated data, not a real screen, as I *randomly* added or subtracted read counts from the two replicates) A paper that describes a screen as reproducible, but shows only the left plot, be wary. Read more here: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32284587/

A pair of graphs I think about a lot. On the topic of pooled CRISPR screens, the left is "replicate correlation" when simply examining the abundance of guide RNAs, i.e. log-normalized read counts. On the right is taking those same data and subtracting from a common starting point, i.e. pDNA.
