If Google stopped providing GMail for free tomorrow, there is nothing any Canadian government could do about it. And quite frankly, nor should they. If you want e-mail as a critical service, make Canada Post an e-mail provider. And make it accountable to the people through Government.

put 2 Idaho Russets in the oven at 420 degrees for 45 min, take them out and foil wrap, 1 in each pocket before you go out. Theyll stay warm for 3-4 hours even in this weather and you can eat em when you like. They used to send us kids out like this back in the 70s trust me.

I know this is getting lost in the noise, and the extent to which international news has largely moved on from Ukraine. The situation in the country and especially the capital is dire. Many at immediate risk, especially elderly. And more strikes coming to try and kill the civilian power grid totally

Problematically, AFAICT, you have to do this *with each device* you use bsky with. Muting something on the browser does not seem to mute it on the app, etc. Turning autoplay off on the app does not necessarily turn it off on the browser. So just check to be sure. <3
