There is something paradoxical about social networks and the attention economy. Attention addicted sociopaths like Andreeseen obviously gain from the public outrage that follows after their idiotic comments about introspection. They get exactly what they want: attention.

We're testing a *Pro* plan for publishers ✨🌱 One big feature to start — analytics (views, referrers, subscribers) — and adding more soon. Also just a great way to support Leaflet! $12/m or $120/y We'd like to test the signup flow with a few early adopters. If you're interested please reach out!

part of our goal with
@cosmik.network
is to make visible the "micro-contributions" of knowledge work / research to the information commons. Imagine if in
@semble.so
you could see who curated the search results? Here's one idea to make attribution part of the core experience (vs Google)

1/ Finally wrote up “The Story of Mendeley”! Most people know the tool, few know about its rise and fall. The Mendeley story provides important clues for how to build self-sustaining AND non-extractive knowledge commons, which is why I think it deserves more attention 🧵

ATProto devs did you know you can use
selfhosted.social
for users to create brand new accounts on the atmosphere in your applications? Both
deckbelcher.com
and
blento.app
uses our PDS. A user's journey into the atmosphere does not always have to be started from Bluesky. It can start from your app.
