Obviously neither are a long-term solution and shouldn’t be the sole big signed/traded for this summer. But between the two, I feel there’s more value to gain from Lopez next season.

Quick FA thought. Personally would lean Lopez over Capela. Capela younger and still some athletic juice. But think Lopez is a more than serviceable defensive big/communicator. Also, spacing would be helpful if certain shooters are traded and can beat switches. Can’t hide a small on him like Hayes.

So this logjam at the four (offensive and defensive) after the Thiero pick is interesting to say the least.
