When comparing to other players who have played at least 400 minutes this year, Austin Reaves currently has a higher 2-point FG% than: Giannis SGA Luka …And *pretty much* everyone else (bigs who mostly dunk) except Jokic.

Since this, the Lakers are 3rd in midrange shot frequency and still 1st in terms of conversion rate. They are shooting 10% points higher (!) than league average.

While Ayton definitely deserves credit for converting on his chances, so does Luka for creating them. On the season, Ayton’s TS% with Luka on the floor is a crazy 72.5% When he’s off, it drops to 66%

After their hot start, the Lakers’ offensive rating has dropped to 16th. They also are last in wide open 3’s generated per game and transition frequency. The fact that their record is still solid is encouraging, but they have to be dominant/get easier looks on offense to have a chance this year.
