The U.S. used to have 400-500 lightning fatalities a year. Globally, we see 24,000 fatalities a year from lightning - many of them occurring at sporting events. Really shameful to see this on Big Noon Kickoff.

Not good to see these two circulations move over and next to Collins, MS. Remember driving on US-69 in 2020 down to Hattiesburg and seeing the damage swath from the 4/12/2020 tornado that went through somewhere very close by. I hope everyone is okay.
