It’s little things like this where the NAM has value and why, despite the plan NOAA has set out over multiple years, I disagree with eliminating it altogether. Forecasters know operationally what works better where, more than any statistical verification can tell you.

Strongly disagree with this move. The RRFS is not ready for prime time. The NAM has value in corners of the universe. The HREF is a phenomenal model. This is not smart IMO.
