“Infinite” in maths and “definite” in not maths are related in that definite stems from “bounded within limits” (think “defined”) and infinite means unbounded without limits. So now you’ll never spell “definite” incorrectly again. You’re welcome. 😉

I didn’t have enough exercise books for my new #CoreMaths class so needed something to keep them busy while I raided the cupboard. This turned out to be a really good question - they were able to take lots of different approaches. #MathsToday

Lowest Common Multiple today. Google "metronome". Select two confident pupils. One leads half the class clapping every 4 beats, the other every 3. Predict when everybody will be clapping together. It's a nice introduction.

Interesting study. A good teacher knows when to give lots of support, and how/when to start withdrawing it. AI does not apparently.

My view on #Edusky 🎓is that if we really want this community to function well, we need to lay off the like button. Hit Repost or quote post to raise the voices of others, but most of all reply - get involved. Even if its only to say you agree, or like the sound of it.
