ICE is out of control. Local law enforcement is now holding press conferences, issuing statements, and doing interviews because ICE is taking illegal actions against them too. If ICE doesn’t want their officers to be put at more risk, they need to follow the law.

A large Congressional delegation with a film crew should be in Minneapolis documenting the crimes being committed by the Trump regime. On camera they should repeatedly demand that Minnesota call out the Guard to protect its citizens. MPD must arrest ICE agents who commit crimes.

I feel like crying. Trump and the GOP are destroying my country. The US should be a shining beacon of hope and love, not this assault on all we hold dear.

It would take a two-word amendment to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 to subject ICE agents and other federal law enforcement officers to the same liability for constitutional violations that local and state officers currently face. If Congress actually cared about what it's seeing, it could pass that overnight.
