I have read this. It is a most horrible book (in a good way). You all should read it, too.

More writers need to watch all the seasons of HOW IT'S MADE because they for whatever reason have NO idea how the world works, or how things work, or how things work in the world, and then it shows up in their fiction and makes me yell and swear and pace and weep and rend my clothes in despair.

What’s happening to America’s libraries isn’t just a political issue; it’s an assault on knowledge, access, and democracy. From censorship to leadership purges, libraries are under siege.

Everyone working on books right now would be well-served to keep their various drafts. Hate that we’re here, but right or wrong, some of us are inevitably, in this shitty future, going to be asked to show our work, so to speak.

There are a vast number of editorial reports by me out there in the world that have advised an author on the process by which they would request permission to use copyrighted song lyrics or lines from modern poetry. If it's copyrighted, you ask permission. No ifs, no buts. That's why AI is bullshit.

A staggering 40% of the country’s weather forecast offices have significant staffing vacancies. Some offices can no longer operate overnight – imperiling their ability to warn people of imminent extreme weather. Make no mistake: DOGE's cuts put American lives at risk.

My newest fabric art creation that I designed and hand-sewed is Meggan the Happy Spring Egg. She might have a face on each side of her, but she isn't two-faced. She enjoys baking, listening to crime podcasts, and whispering egg puns in people's ears while they sleep.

With the Arthurian book in the polishing stage, I find there's a bit of a lull in the editing / book doctoring work, so if anyone out there is looking for an in-depth structural edit, feel free to hit me up. I do mentoring too these days, by Zoom or Skype, and am quite happy to work with all levels.
