If you love video games then you owe it to yourself to just sit down, pick a system of choice, and download random games for it. Go to Myrient and just grab a bunch of games and play them. If you see a title that is even a little interesting, grab it and try it out.

Even if you end up with some games that you can't play because of a language barrier, that's still something you saw that you wouldn't have. It is very enriching to just see what is out there. I especially suggest the PS1 for this. The library is huge and there is some wacky shit on it.
