We are miles past "consent of the governed" here in Minnesota. Are we a co-equal state in the Union or not? Are Minneapolitans equal citizens under the Constitution or not?

13 years ago I was in a bad bike accident on my way home from work, at 26th and Nicollet. When I was lying in the middle of the intersection after the crash, people eating at the restaurant on the right came running to help me, including a doctor. (1/2)

I am watching what is happening in Minneapolis on Ali Velshi and one of the ICE officers (off camera) literally says, “It’s like Call of Duty. Pretty cool huh?” as they shoot whatever it is they are shooting. Agents walking around, guns unholstered for no reason. This is insanity

It’s amazing the full force of the federal gov’t law enforcement apparatus is being deployed to Minnesota because the cruel dipshits in charge refuse to believe that white folks are willingly putting their lives on the line to protect their neighbors. They think there must be a nefarious reason.

As expected, it's like the court order doesn't exist (the court order that was just reiterating the law). Are there any elected officials talking about this? The governor said we should hit record on our phones, but someone has to alert the phone-havers to the presence of 🧊 in the first place.

This is Minneapolis: You're standing outside school drop off for your kids' elementary, debriefing safety concerns. Someone is crying after a scary encounter with fed agents this morning. A total stranger walks by and says "I heard you all were working to support our neighbors, here's $100."

Why local developers aren't building apartments anymore. A case study. Flux Apartments in Uptown (pictured here). 216 units 2019: Sold for $54M Tuesday: Sold for $36.1M That's $167,000 per unit. If you wanted to build Flux today it would likely cost in the ballpark of $71M or $330K per unit.
