actually i kinda *do* think using genAI should be such a social faux pas that the user is marked as a pariah and no longer feels welcome in the community. "AI is bad" is no longer an abstract (it never was), my city has been under a boil water advisory for a week because of AI data centers

It's a huge mistake to "adjust to" or "adapt" to generative AI. There's rarely been a more clearcut situation to reject vehemently for so many reasons. One reason beyond those that apply now is the future capacity for proactive manipulation and distortion. We need less outside interference not more.

1. Small storytime: I applied for a new actual play show recently. I really liked their previous production quality and audio so I thought why not. It felt like a good fit. Had a vibe check with the producer and we totally nerded out over the hobby. It truly was a great convo.
