LAKE YELLOWWOOD SLAUGHTER is the graphic novel "adaptation" of a 1983 slasher movie that never existed (directed by a has-been giallo filmmaker cashing in on Hollywood's new slasher fad). This time, the summer camp killer goes after the parents. It's by me and Gavin Guidryβ¦and you can order it here!

Every time this goes around Iβm stunned that there are still people whoβve never seen it, this performance is to drag what the Mona Lisa is to paintings, but maybe youβve never seen the Mona Lisa, so today is the day you shall behold it

Tonight I tried to watch Faces of Death (1978) andβ¦wow. It's not often I give up on a movie in 15 minutes because it has no artistic merit or aesthetic value whatsoever. A repulsive combination of real imagery that's not scary but is grotesque with bullshit you'd have to be a real dumbass to believe

Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.

In case anyone is wondering how I "clocked" Platner, it was the fact that he is a literal mercenary with a Nazi tattoo. Maybe keep that in your back pocket

perhaps we should view nazi tattoos as disqualifying from here on out. i kind of assumed we'd already view them as disqualifying but was unpleasantly surprised so maybe from here we could all agree not to downplay nazi tattoos since they seem pretty indicative of broad disregard for human dignity

Trump: It's not working! Why don't they love the fair? How do I make the crowds cheer? Oracle of DC: If you test your strength against the heat with a very long speech, the nation will celebrate harder than they ever have. They will party in the streets. No one will ever forget the night.

In the 80s a wave of "neoliberal" Dems threw out the party's working class values and commitment to unions for the sake of financial deregulation and Wall St. donors. These Republican Lite "socially-liberal-fiscally-conservative" Dems undermined the establishment and took over. We're taking it back.
