I don't think we understand just how bad the decline of the Internet is to knowledge. 3 years ago, I could perform a very basic search in any engine and get an absurd number of relevant links, research articles, etc. Today, I can perform the same search and find absolutely nothing.

I’ve been in front of the computer too long. Time to take a break and look at my phone.

I lent my then-girlfriend a windows laptop, & she signed into Edge to sync her browsing data. Microsoft then REPLACED all my accounts (Office, Teams, Windows itself, EVERYTHING) with hers. The only way to fix this was to go into regedit and perform an esoteric rain dance of a procedure Fuck edge.
