This whole thread! Advocating for yourself as a cartoonist can be difficult and frustrating and frankly kind of gaslighty for so many reasons. Having an editor/agent/writer who is inexperienced with graphic novel production makes it ten times more difficult, unless they are great communicators.

If that’s what you took out of Hear My Hope then you don’t know how to watch shows. The point is they need to survive because they literally don’t want to be nuked by a psycho. It’s hope to live to tomorrow despite living in a chaotic place, it’s not a “happy ending” you dunce.

I also don’t get why these types even watch a show *about redemption* if their view of humanity is a black-and-white “irredeemable evil trash” vs “worthy of not nuking themselves to death”.
