Every time I see Metaverse news, I do chuckle a little, which may be a bit mean. But I was up for a role around 2021 and had great interviews with the VP of audience and others. I thought it went well.

I don't agree with that Twitter/Washpost take. In Nov 2024, folks were actively saying to cancel the Washpost, and the response was journos for the Post launching a social campaign to push people to remain as subscribers.

Just cancelled a newspaper sub by CALLING because they would not let me do it online. I was nice to the person on the phone! But when they offered me a lower rate, I declined and explained it was in part because I was unable to cancel online. This is a problem with legacy papers.

Let me read these stairs stories. I'm glad this is a topic. I take the stairs everywhere. Everywhere. I walk up 10 to 11 flights of stairs. I call hotels before booking and ask about the stairs. I talk w/front desk staff at hotels who often donât know where the stairs are or if guests can use them.

I hosted a faux book club by asking my most bookish friends to meet to discuss a classic novel that made me want to karate chop one of the characters in the neck. Now there's a new book that I know I'm going to want to hear their takes on so this every 2 years book club is about to be my fave.
