It stood out to me in those Sphere Wizard of Oz pics that it didn’t really look like AI, it looked like bad CGI composites. Studios who made a big show of AI are now lying about it to save face. As I’ve said, even the best-looking AI is FAR from controllable enough for a project like this.

More then ever, if you love a film and have the means, try and get a physical copy. Streaming your favourite films neans you don't own them, and some asshole might decide to do this to them. Or censor them. Or just remove them from netflix or whatever forever.

Generative "AI" can do many things, almost all of them terribly and at far greater expense than just hiring somebody. If it doesn't cost you anything currently, that's because it's being subsidized by investors who are going to want their money back with interest and none of this is cheap.
