Plus, mainstream western 2D animated productions in the past decade either aren't a smash blockbuster hit, aren't not top priority productions (namely films based on TV shows), or they're relegated to streaming. So even on the business side, it's gonna take alot of convincing.

Yes, they've done 2D here and there either for effects (Moana and Wish), commercials (mainly for the parks) and short films (Once Upon A Studio), but that's the extent they have at the moment until they have enough to warrant a feature length production.

Alot of people who desperately want WDAS to return to 2D Animation really don't know how difficult and long that's going to take. They closed their initial division after a string of flops in the early 2000's and the division they have now doesn't have enough to work on a 90 minute feature film.

What's next? Bully Disney into shutting down the computer animation division? This is just entitled harassment.
