When The Amazing Digital Circus ends, I’ll likely do a ranking video of all the episodes. Episode 8 was delightful, but I’m not sure if it’s as good as or better than what led up to it. I’ll think about it.

Editing work on the final part of the Land Before Time retrospective kicked off today. I would’ve started sooner, but it’s hard for me to get motivated over the later instalments. I feel like an actor. “What’s my motivation? ‘Big Daddy’?”

My two cents on the Amazing Digital Circus drama. 1¢: This sort of fan entitlement has been “typical” on for a loong time. Read any sci-fi fanzine from the 70s and 80s. People shouldn’t get too attached to their objects of interest to the point of lashing out at the people in charge of it. (cont)

I don’t remember the plots in Mr. Bean being this complex, but then again, I haven’t seen it in years.

One problem I’ve always had with Bluesky and its algorithm is how similar it thinks we all are in our interests. The noted trending topics are always sports and politics (once in a while some celebrity drama I don’t have a darn about), no matter what you’ve stated your interests are.

Second hand store toy boxes are strange. You never know which toys belonged to which kids, so how weird the crossovers were is up to your own judgement.

You know that kid at the start of Jurassic Park who snarked on raptors? He voiced a dinosaur in a Land Before Time sequel who has to confront those very same “6 foot turkeys”. This is better karma than Grant threatening him, and that’s already powerful karma.

I’ve decided to split the Land Before Time reviews up into 3 videos. That way, you’ll get more frequent material. Then I’ll later compile them all into a mega review like I did with Toy Story. I to IV will go up next week, hopefully.

I sometimes remember this electronics store in New Zealand called Dick Smth. And how when they rebranded to get rid of the head in the logo, which we affectionately called “the Dick head”, business gradually fell off and it closed.

Some of the most underappreciated work of Guy Moon is on this funky little Tiny Toon Adventures album. This was long before his career-defining work on The Fairly OddParents, but it was always obvious he was talented, and put his all into any music no matter what. Rest in peace.

With my Animated Advent titles all being parody headlines, I’m happy whenever the shows make the right jokes for me. I can leave this as is.

I personally don’t collect Doctor Who figurines, but this new one of the Flood is sending me. I love it. It evokes “methhead from the 80s covered in worms” more than “Martian water zombie from one of the show’s darkest episodes”. I might have to get it and put it on my nightstand.

Physical media shopping again, and it’s always a nostalgia rush. I haven’t seen that movie about the orange cat, 🟧🟧🟧🟧🟧🟧🟧🟧, in years.

Here’s one reason I don’t look at my YouTube analytics all the time. This must be what cocaine feels like.

Some people spend way too much money on Christmas.

Does anyone know if I’m able to change the thumbnails on YouTube shorts? They’ve all worked so far, but there’s a few scheduled posts where I don’t think the algorithmically chosen frames reflect the show or review very well. You might see what I mean as Animated Advent goes on.
