With my Animated Advent titles all being parody headlines, I’m happy whenever the shows make the right jokes for me. I can leave this as is.

I personally don’t collect Doctor Who figurines, but this new one of the Flood is sending me. I love it. It evokes “methhead from the 80s covered in worms” more than “Martian water zombie from one of the show’s darkest episodes”. I might have to get it and put it on my nightstand.

Physical media shopping again, and it’s always a nostalgia rush. I haven’t seen that movie about the orange cat, 🟧🟧🟧🟧🟧🟧🟧🟧, in years.

Does anyone know if I’m able to change the thumbnails on YouTube shorts? They’ve all worked so far, but there’s a few scheduled posts where I don’t think the algorithmically chosen frames reflect the show or review very well. You might see what I mean as Animated Advent goes on.

Happy 32nd anniversary to my favorite show!! I don’t really have much new art of these guys, but I did draw this a few days ago!

Down where I live, the Super Mario Galaxy re-releases are retailing for a high price, but it’s not completely out of reason for 2 of the best games ever. Looks higher, but as you can see, our dollar is way lower than in Burgerville. I think this is a tariff thing. Check the alt text for more info.

The Mario series might be in a weird place at the moment, but Nintendo has mastered the 20 year nostalgia cycle and played us like fiddles every time.

A lot of people don’t know this, but social media discourse actually factors into what companies produce. They look at trends in the algorithms & that adds to their research and “creative” suggestions. Doing my part now. Fixed was a fine idea. Beep boop. Make more varied animation for more people.
