It maybe just me, but it’s a very weird experience to “Copy” with your index finger on your phone, but “paste” with your middle finger! Like the item that stuck to one finger, somehow jumped to the other. Or perhaps it’s time I was put away.

Got all my grocery deliveries booked up till NYE. I’ll obv have to make some changes to the orders closer to the dates, but it’s one less thing to worry about. My diary that I make budgeting notes in, looks like a WW2 code book. I’ve reminders on my phone, but the diary is the business.

A good old standby green curry day, today. Hardly any work, and maybe it will make me feel better. Managed to swap the shrink appointment over to a telephone one next Tuesday. Bloody good job I don’t give a damn about mumbo-jumbo, hanukah is looking very interesting indeed.

Yet another mould survey booked for next Monday. This place must have a huge file of survey reports and photos. Nothing ever happens, 5 months later another survey is done, that way they keep kicking the can down the road, and I keep spraying the outbreaks.

Finished wiring up all the “candles”, while several black, black & white kitties came to see what I was doing, as had I left the backdoor open for the evening air. Monster rain expected again tomorrow, but at least I’ll start afresh with the least possible condensation in the morning.

The Tasselled Wobbegong is a master of disguise that can eat a fish almost as big as itself in one gulp. It's classified as a shark, but when it lays on the sea floor it looks like a harmless rug if you manage to see it. But with powerful jaws and sharp teeth they are no fish to mess with.

Max has come for brunch, I think breakfast mast have been wanting at Chez Lyn, as all three of her cats have been to ask this morning. Like all of us she struggles financially, I think, but doesn’t prioritise good quality cat food. Milo-the-hoover doesn’t often give him a look-in.

Electronics today. The light isn’t great, but I’m behind on a project I wanted to complete by next weekend, I’ve been putting it off because of the acrylic work. Need to curve a piece into an arc, and I’m not sure about heating it in the oven.

Morning! Change of crockery at the TopCat diner, and a bit of a tidy up. Philomena dropped in immediately for a blue plate special. Rain has stopped but everything is soggy.

Enjoying “Huntingtower” although I’m having to delve deep into my grandfather’s vocabulary to decipher some of the dialect. No kitties tonight, probably for the best, as it gets confusing to sort them out.

One week since I assembled my new smaller Christmas tree. One week I've been looking at it undecorated to the point where it's now just another house plant.

Home again, laundry done, I and that, damp. Think I’ll listen to a bit of John Buchan, “Huntingtower” this afternoon. Buchan’s thrillers, with Biggles, were childhood friends of my father’s, and was rereading “Prester John”, still, into his final years. And why not, as a good Scot?

Oh well, may as well brave the elements, it’s a bit early for my laundry slot, but perhaps it’s clear. Or I can listen to a podcast in the meantime, the washers working themselves into apoplexy, normally makes the important bits unheard.

Nothing of any interest on the OTR stations this morning, think it’s time to find some different ones. So it’s Sunshine Gold on 106.8 MHz (Dublin), currently playing “Laughter in the Rain”, Neil Sedaka.

Morning! Rainy again and now we are being warned of Moderate Rain. As long as they don’t knock and want my vote.

Trying to give AM his dinner and Milo barges in. So I put another bowl outside for him, and steer him to the table. Then AM comes outside, so I’ve got two heavyset tom cats milling around, about a quarter of a brain cell between them. I give up, and both sod off without eating.

Cooked and supped. I’ll see later or tomorrow if this has done me a damage. Not loads of laundry, so no big deal if I skip it.

You gotta get up pretty early in the morning if you want to be as tired as me.

Trying to summon the energy to cook. Need to make for the whole weekend. Is this one of those times you are expected to “power through”? I used to do that when I was working construction, after the bottom fell out the electronic repair market, but never remember being so enervated.

New CPAP mask arrived, and I’m sure I look very fetching. These ResMed ones don’t smell as badly as some of the others. AM is hanging around this morning. Perhaps he wants to help me make a bread, or it could just be the insect smell of the mealworm box. Cats seem to find it attractive.

Storm died down and AM dropped by for a late supper. Nice to see him, and barely moist at all. I think he must have a good home, just a hungry chap. Much as my friend Clive, he would “visit” all his friends that he approved of the menus. Think he had his timing such that he managed 3-4 on his route.

Hell of a storm outside. Periperi prawns and spicy fries inside. I can’t see that the diner will get many customers tonight, really not kitty weather.

Croissant breakfast. Perhaps they will settle my hash. Periperi prawns this evening, I think. That’s easy enough.

All my puzzles are fighting me this morning, even the solitaire challenges. Having difficulty in maintaining focus on the objective. Perhaps I need more sleep? Then I have very confused dreams with lots of jump shots.. like an inexperienced avant-garde film director. All most irritating.

Morning. It’s a very slow, stiff, and painful John-John today. Not sure what occurred last night to produce this. We tend to look for reasons where there is none. Bloke mixing milk formula for calves on the radio. Seems like there’s some unnecessary steps there.

Dinner done, washed up, AM fed. Find something to do tonight. Mood feels lighter, not sure why, must be something I’ve done today. I try not to examine my anxieties too much, if at all possible, so sometimes I think I put something to rest, without realising it.
