I was wondering what Mamdani's first executive order would be, and I'm not disappointed by this. He has wiped off the books EVERY Eric Adams executive order issued on or after September 26, 2024, the day Adams was indicted on federal bribery charges.

Yesterday, Reuters unveiled a report in which they discovered that Israel re-purposed armored personnel carriers into truck bombs, loading them with up to 3 tons of explosives and then using them to destroy residential buildings in Gaza.

Mamdani: Where else can you hear the sound of the steel pan, savor the smell of sancocho, and pay $9 for coffee on the same block? Where else could a Muslim kid like me grow up eating bagels and lox every Sunday?

It seems worth noting that, given what he's ordered, Hegseth's freedom long-term almost certainly depends on staying in Trump's good graces enough to swing an end-of-administration pardon. So he is likely to cling *very hard* to the job to avoid being pushed out before the end.
