The first 5 years of living in Los Angeles is regularly being told by people who don't live here not to go to this neighborhood or that one and then you get invited for brunch or a kid's birthday and it's just, like, a normal neighborhood.

I live in Los Angeles. There is no "rioting." There are protests. Some protesters are being stupid with rocks and setting fires. But sending in the National Guard and the fucking Marines for protests LAPD can easily handle... is Piss-frosted Pumpkin Tits Theater. (No, I don't say his name.)
