25 Years Ago yesterday, the animated series STATIC SHOCK hit the airwaves, introducing the Milestone Comics hero to the world. When I wrote THE SHADOW CABINET, one of the moments I knew had to be in the book was to have the comic book version say the line the animated version became known for.

Of course they ban a trans woman and cancel her series for saying what everyone is saying. That a horrible man has died of gunfire when he actively tried to harm other people every day. He said that gun deaths in exchange for the preservation of Second Amendment rights is part of America's reality.
