Really can’t recommend the latest season of Articles of Interest by @trufelman.bsky.social highly enough. Everyone wears the same gear now because they’re following fashion trends! Special forces have switched back to 80s jungle camo because they want to look cool and different from everyone else.

This really feels like a coda to @trufelman.bsky.social ‘s latest season, wherein the special forces use their uniform exemptions to wear the GOOD camo and then it’s cool because special forces are wearing it and everyone else wants in, et cetera. The cycles of fashion begin anew

I say it every season, but Avery @trufelman.bsky.social's Articles of Interest is an exemplary podcast and I cannot recommend it enough. This season was "Gear": all about the interplay between the military, fashion, and the outdoor industry.
