Millions are about to see huge increases in their healthcare premium costs. 22 million people will see their healthcare premiums double and 4.2 million will lose healthcare because they can no longer afford it.

The reason they are making these plans is because they are, by their policies, creating the conditions for high crime and public upheaval and they want to be prepared for it.

The SNAP fight is actually a recapitulation of the entire purpose of the shutdown. There's a contingency fund, Trump is required to spend it, but he's not, usurping Congress's power of the purse, essentially so he can do it again with normal appropriations whenever he wants
