This is insane. The terms of DOJ's slush fund appear to transfer control of $1.8 billion beyond US government entirely. Unless I'm misreading this, that would circumvent Congress *entirely* and put the money outside of *any* constitutional and/or legal constraints ofany kind. Straight up theft.

2. Three more SMOKING GUNS in Trump's new 113 page financial disclosure. Trump purchased between $50,000 and $100,000 in Micron stock on March 25 (also unsolicited). The next day he called into The Five, said he had just met with Micron's CEO, and called Micron "one of the hottest companies."

3. Trump purchased between purchased between $1 million and $5 million worth of Dell Technologies stock on February 10. During an economic speech in Georgia nine days later, Trump told the audience to “go out and buy a Dell computer,” saying the company made “phenomenal products.”

It’s VERY IMPORTANT that corporate media NOT frame this as a judicial settlement. Trump DROPPED the suit this morning. There is no lawsuit, and therefore, no settlement. you can’t settle a suit that doesn’t exist. This is just pure theft.

Every GOP member of Congress should be asked by the press whether they agree Trump can use $1.7b that we, the taxpayers, paid so gov’t could work for us, as reward money to his supporters.

Today Trump "negotiated" with his private criminal defense lawyer—a man he made AG for this corrupt purpose—the theft of $1.8B in taxpayer money so that it could be given to far-right terrorists in open rebellion against America. It's the most corrupt act by a POTUS in history.

A win! The Senate parliamentarian ruled against the $1B provision meant to fund Trump’s White House ballroom in the budget reconciliation package. The funds were struck down for violating the Byrd Rule, which bars “extraneous” non-budgetary provisions from passing through reconciliation.

In America, billionaires can get charges of "elaborate corruption and fraud" dropped entirely if they hire one of the President's personal lawyers and lay $10 billion on the table. What the hell are we doing here, folks?

Removing the gas tax doesn't target fossil fuel companies. If anything, it helps them by making it more likely consumers buy gas.

In other words, despite all the happy talk and propaganda there is no end in sight to this so Republicans have to pile on more debt in addition to increasing the national debt with the cost of the war, more military spending, a fortune for ICE, and a ballroom.
