It took me 3 evening trips, 3 different pharmacies, whom all differed in person and on the phone in terms of their supply, just to get my kids COVID and flu shots. It shouldn’t be this hard Premier Ford. I wish true government incompetence was treated like the scandal it really is.

The days ahead will be crucial. Not just in terms of public opinion, but in terms of political culture. Champions of human rights and the constitution must not only outnumber the premier's supporters. They must persuade Albertans that these positions are dominant, piercing the populist bubble.

Let's be clear about what happened today. Premier Smith introduced a bill to strip Albertans of Charter rights, denied MLAs the opportunity to debate it and the courts the ability to scrutinize it, and did all of this from her seat on a jet to Saudi Arabia.
