Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe discussing trade on “Power & Politics” saying we need to explore opportunities for trade with countries around the world - and “determine our own destiny.” I think Canadians will stand behind that sentiment.

Have we forgotten that when people like Bessent are on tv giving their “big talk” threats - they are there to appease an audience of one?

Doug Ford is a big cheer captain for keeping the team together when he’s happy playing on the first line. When he gets demoted to 2nd or benched he’s back to finding things to gripe about. A cagey chameleon. I appreciate the drive for unity. Do I trust my Premier? Nope.

I believe readouts from conversations the PM has with world leaders are necessary. That said, a 30 minute telephone conversation with Trump I’m going out on a limb to say 20 minutes of that would probably have been repetitive - Trump talking all about injustices to himself. Riveting reading.
